Exercise on experimentation and theoretical reflection. The products of the research were an essay and a poster presented at the joint postgraduate conference between the University of Edinburgh and the Edinburgh College of Art, held in december 2008.

Two field work experiences were documented.

[1. Maiden's Rebirth]

The site of intervention was the National Museum of Scotland, within the section of Kingdom of Scots. A pillow case stuffed with an inflated balloon and tinted with artificial blood was placed at the base of the maiden, resembling a chopped head.

[2. Snatching revisited]

[2. Snatching revisited]

With the help of Fiona Brehony, we enacted a pair of resurrection men and carried a carcass wrapped in black plastic bags from Greyfriar’s Churchyard to the entrance of the Medical School of the University of Edinburgh.
